Decisions Counselor
| Being trained to reach out to those who want to accept Jesus as their Savior, those who want to place membership at The Creek, and those who just need to talk and pray with a fellow believer is what this ministry is all about. This is an extremely important ministry that both requires a high degree of responsibility and pays back incredible dividends in being able to help people through some incredibly important times in their lives. Training is required. |

ACCESS Disibility Ministry
| This is a group of disabled and non-disabled Christians working together to reach out to individuals and families that have been touched by disability. Our goal is to share the Gospel, to assist in integrating them into the church, and to meet their needs in a way that serves as a witness to the surrounding community. We do this primarily by our Sunday morning "buddy system" (pairing children with special needs with a one-on-one buddy in their Sunday morning class) and by also providing an alternative Sunday school class--A.L.L (Alternative Learning and Loving) God's Children. This class uses alternative learning styles (based on visual learning, music and simple stories) to teach kids with various disabilities. The class is geared those children with autism and sensory integration difficulties. Other ways we attempt to help meet their needs is by holding "parent's night out" every other month, generally on a Friday or Saturday evening. These evenings give parents with special needs a night out while volunteers help care for and have a great time with their children. These nights usually include food, games and other fun activities for the children and their siblings. We encourage volunteers to bring their kids since this is a great way to serve as a family. Volunteers for either the Sunday morning programs or the Parent's Night Out can help as often or little as they feel led. |
