Kids R.O.C.K. (K-4)

Kids R.O.C.K. meets every Sunday morning in the Family Life Center at 9:30a.m. and 11:00a.m. Kids are dropped off and picked up at age specific classrooms; in-between drop off and pick up they are led through a large group lesson, worship and small group time that help them recognize Jesus in everything they do. Teaching comes to the kids through creative teaching, drama and video while a Worship Team teaches us how to worship God through songs and motions. Both Sunday morning services are identical in all ways, so if you are staying for two services, make sure you check out The ScrapYard (see the description below).  Each week of a month we tackle one virtue and look at different Bible Stories which help us understand the virtue. Students take home GodTime Cards and Refrigerator Doors which are family tools that correspond with our weekly lessons. If your child forgot to bring them home this week, check out the “Sunday Take Home Tools” field to the left to print out yours today.

The ScrapYard

The ScrapYard has been designed for kids who attend two services. During the 11:00a.m. service students who have picked up ScrapYard tags are moved upstairs where they review the lesson of the day, usually work on a craft and build community with other students who attend both services. It is a great place to build relationships between kids who spend their whole morning at church.  **The kids think it’s pretty cool, too!**

Tags

When dropping off your kids in Kids R.O.C.K. you will get two grade specific numbered tags. These tags match so when you return to the room to pick up your children, we can match your tag number with your child’s tag and ensure you belong together.
