Funeral Dinners
A caring and committed group of volunteers are called upon during times of grief.  For those families who specifically request it, a meal is provided here at the church, immediately following the funeral service.  And this is all accomplished by volunteers.  The Funeral Dinners ministry is of great comfort to the families of The Creek who have experienced the loss of a loved one.  They also send a powerful statement of care and concern to those attending the funeral.

Hospital Visitation Team
The Hospital Visitation Team is a group of individuals working in conjunction with the pastoral staff to make hospital visits.  Our goal is to make daily, personal contact with members or attenders of The Creek that are having an extended stay in the hospital or about to undergo surgery.  We want these folks to know that their family of God is thinking of them and praying for them.  This is also an incredibly rewarding experience for our visitation volunteers, as more often than not, they are the ones who feel they have received a blessing from the Lord.  We ask four things of our visitation volunteers: (1) participate in specialized training and continuing education that will prepare you for making hospital visitations; (2) have the capability to receive and send email; (3) commit 1-3 hours per week to visitations; and (4) use your God-given gift of intercessory prayer to minister to those who are hurting.
