Food Collection
Our Food Co-Op is a tangible way The Creek meets the needs of our neighbors experiencing food insecurity. Not only does this group provide food supports for families, it also is a thriving community that prays for and encourages one another, and worships and fellowships together. Our families would say that the most significant piece of this ministry to them is the regular, God centered, safe, sharing environment they are part of where trust and community flourishes.
How to be a part of it
Due to the number of families connected to this ministry, we have a consistent need for consistent food donations. Because of this significant need, we’re inviting 100 families to donate 20 pounds of food per month for a year-long commitment. By being a part of the Food Co-Op group, you'll help provide consistent food donations to meet physical needs, but you'll also have the opportunity to learn more about what God is regularly doing through this ministry. We 'll provide you with regular emails updates about the groups, including specific needs and prayer requests.
Would you and your family considering joining the Food Co-Op 100?
--> Donate 20 pounds of food once a month for a year. This is the equivalent of filling one orange bag.
--> The average cost to fill an orange bag is $30.
--> We will provide you with regular emails that update you on specific things happening within the group, prayer requests, praises and more specific needs that may arise.
