Vision Statement: Provide direction and oversight to all Children’s programming and ministry for birth – 5th grade and Special Needs.

2. Oversee volunteer recruitment, onboarding, training and shepherding
3. Oversee communication with and cultivation of church relationships with parents and families for the spiritual success of our students
Duties:
• Develop programming and curriculum for birth-5th grade Ministry
• Manage Children’s Ministry coverage and troubleshoot worship services
• Build relationships with volunteers via weekly communication and personal meetings
• Collaborate with other ministry teams
• Collaborate with Preschool Ministry with transitioning from Preschool to Elementary
• Assist with organization of Rooted Kids programming
• Attend at least one worship service weekly
• Consistently evaluate and report on the state of the Children’s Ministry (programming, events, small groups, children, parent partnerships, staff health and development, goals, etc.)
• Support and aid with coordination of outreach initiatives with local and global missions
• Lead and develop annual camp experiences
• Attend weekly staff huddle and monthly staff gatherings
• Participate in staff discipleship groups
• Uphold staff operational values – Prayer, Purity, Humility, Honor, Creativity, Excellence, Family, and Fun
• Available for all Christmas and Easter services
• Encouraged to participate in Rooted and a Life Group
• Pastoral and other duties as assigned
