Student Worship Minister


Philosophy of Ministry: As a staff we will follow Philippians 2:1-8 as a model of Christ-honoring servant leadership. The Creek’s mission (317) is to Love God, Love People, and Make Disciples by connecting people to Jesus through our seven priorities of Worship, Gospel, Kingdom, Scripture, Identity, Community, and Generosity.

Accountable to: Student Pastor

Vision Statement: Help bring students and families to the feet of Jesus through real and relevant worship experiences.

  3. Volunteer Development

Duties:
  • Direct oversight of all worship experiences for Student Ministry (Bands, Vocals, Tech, Sound, etc.)
  • Direct oversight of all worship environments and elements for Student Ministry (Staging, Video, Production, Props, etc.)
  • Schedule and plan student worship services
  • Collaborate with Middle School and High School Ministry leaders to develop and implement teaching content
  • Recruit, train, and develop leaders
  • Develop and disciple student leaders
  • Attend weekly nine@9 meetings and monthly staff gatherings
  • Participate in staff discipleship groups
  • Uphold staff operational values – Prayer, Purity, Humility, Honor, Creativity, Excellence, Family, and Fun
  • Available for all Christmas and Easter services
  • Encouraged to participate in Rooted and a Life Group
  • Pastoral and other duties as assigned
