For as long as she can remember, Ally has been a social butterfly, preferring to spend all her free time with others. Her hobbies include watching tv shows and movies, reading, writing, sewing, and exploring new and/or local cuisines and activities. Growing up in a military family, Ally had the opportunity to interact with a variety of different cultures. These experiences have only intensified her desire to carry out her call to missions through local and global means. First, by accepting the knowledge and encouragement of the Creek’s staff to equip her to do so effectively. And second, to build lasting relationships with her home-church family which she can carry out into the world. Her favorite part of being on staff at the Creek is the incredible community, love, and wisdom offered by each member who serves alongside her. In everything, she aims to live according to biblical values and commands. However, if asked, she will say that she lives by three principles: 1) “Direction, not intention, determines destination.”-Andy Stanley; 2) “If you don’t get out of the boat, you’ll never walk on water.”- Mark Batterson; and 3) never do anything you wouldn’t want to explain to a paramedic.
