What To Expect August 2

We know it’s a scary time for various reasons and we want you to feel welcome and safe as we gather back together.

  • There will be no Next Gen programming(Nursery - High School) until after Labor Day weekend. Please plan accordingly and know that your kids are welcome to join you in-service.
  • To limit contact with surfaces:
    • Prepackaged communion will be available.
    • We will not be opening our café, so be sure to bring your own.
    • Handouts will not be distributed. Download The Creek app to follow along with the sermon.
  • Facial coverings will be required at both of our campuses per Marion County guidelines. Masks will be available, but we encourage you to bring your own if you have one.
  • Rows in the Worship Center will be blocked off to encourage social distancing.
  • Additional sanitizer stations are located throughout the buildings.
  • ASL Interpretation will continue to be offered during the 11am service at Franklin Road.
  • Tithes and offering can be given safely and securely online as a touchless option.
Email us if you have questions about regathering.

Additional COVID-19 Related Info

When we make decisions or have updates, they'll be here. This situation is fluid; so stay tuned for those updates here or on our social media feeds.
  • Starting August 2, service times will be 9 & 11am at both campuses to ensure ample time for cleaning and sanitization between services.
  • Online worship experiences will still be offered at 9 & 11am, 4:30pm, and on demand by the end of day Sunday. We encourage all attendees over the age of 65 or those who are considered at higher risk to continue worshiping with us online.
  • We encourage you to meet with your life group or other friends to watch services and worship together.
  • We will make decisions about how and when to re-open based on three guiding principles:
    1. The Creek is not and has not been closed. Our church is as alive now as it's even been.
    2. We want to keep people safe and continue to have a strong witness for Jesus in our city.
    3. When we can meet in person, we want everyone to have a chance to worship and engage fully with one another.
  • If you have questions, email

Daily Prayer at 3:17

We’re completely convinced that the best way to help our neighbors during this time is to pray. Because we’ve been talking about being For The 317, how incredible would it be if we joined together at the feet of Jesus every day at 3:17? So set a reminder on your phone or mark it on a calendar to join us. Here are daily prayer prompts to better equip your prayer times:
  • Monday: Those affected by the global pandemic
  • Tuesday: Our families, including those with special needs
  • Wednesday: Elderly and high-risk communities
  • Thursday: Local, state, and national officials
  • Friday: Healthcare workers and first responders
  • Saturday: Small businesses
  • Sunday: Church family and global church
