Foster & Adoptive Ministry
Foster & Adoptive Ministry (FAM)
Foster and/or adoptive families:
There are people in the church who want to help you and support you while you are caring for others. Care Community Teams are a group of people who are committed to helping you while you are caring for your foster and/or adopted children. These teams have committed to bring meals, help with lawn care, child care, homework help, provide services, etc. Your community care team leader will be your main point of contact. They will handle scheduling for the rest of the team. Of course, you will get to know the whole team but the leader is there to take care of the details. If you are interested in having a care community or want to know more contact us.
Care Community Team:
Our foster/adoptive families are so grateful for those who are willing to come around them to provide practical, emotional, and spiritual support as they provide care for children in need. Care team members can serve in ways that they are best suited. Some of the opportunities include child care, dropping of a monthly meal, yard work, tutoring, minor home repair, etc. We even have need of people who would like to shop on short notice for families who have been notified that a child is being assigned to them and are in need of items. If you are interested in joining a care team or want to learn more contact us.
