God is at work restoring His creation and inviting His people to join Him. He could accomplish His purposes without us, but in His grace, He chooses to work through ordinary people of all ages and circumstances.
As a life group, God has uniquely created your group, with a variety of God-given skills and passions. What a gift to explore what ways God may want to use your group to further His Kingdom.
“We are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
Ephesians 2:10
As you consider what serving as a Life Group might look like, consider walking through these steps.
1
Step 1Start with a conversation as a group
- What skills/abilities do you already have within your group?
- What are you passionate about as a group?
- What needs do you know that already exist based on your group’s current community?
- What days or times would you be available to serve together?
- Do you have children you would like to include when you serve?

Step 2Go to our VOMO website to explore ideas
- VOMO is a great resource that can help you think about multiple serving ideas.
- Not everything on the VOMO page is a specific one time project.
- You will find multiple ideas for serving with various Creek partners.
- Use this site as a tool to think through serving ideas that your group could pursue, whether with a Creek partner, or in other ways.

Step 3Need help exploring ideas?
- We would love to help you expand on the ideas your group has been discussing.
- We can help discuss resources/opportunities to help finalize your group’s plans.
